89-94 Justy Shift Lever Pivot Ball Set

Fits 1989-94 Subaru Justy with manual transmission.

This is the main pivot point of the shift linkage located at the bottom of the shift lever. And in the case of my "bushing test mule" Justy, it was the source of nearly ALL the slop in the shifter.
Once this set was installed, the shifter felt amazing! Especially compared to the old worn pivot ball joint.

I also got brand new oem parts to compare for R&D and my set is an IMPROVMENT OVER THE OEM PARTS.

The ball and socket are made of hard 90a polyurethane rubber. The boot is made of more flexible 70A polyurethane rubber. More durable and crack resistant than OEM rubber. 

Lubricating grease is supplied with all bushing orders. All contact surfaces of the new bushings and steel sleeves should be thoroughly lubricated before installation for easier installation, smooth/quiet operation and long bushing life.

Due to the several custom options, nearly all items are made to order. Therefore, there could be up to a 10 business day production time on some orders before they ship.

Color Disclaimer. The formulation of polyurethane that I use to make bushings is chosen because of its high physical strength properties. An unfortunate downside of this type of polyurethane is that it can darken or discolor over time. Especially if it is exposed to UV light. This discoloration has no affect on physical properties but it only aesthetic. I highly recomend not leaving the bushings exposed to sunlight before they are installed. Obviously once installed, sunlight exposure isn't much of an issue but darkening may still occur.
