This is a polyurethane rubber replacement for one end of the Top Engine Torque/Pitch Stop mount on many 70s & 80s Subaru cars.

This fits 85-89 Subaru Justy. ((Some 1989 Justy could have a different updated design)) As well as many older 70s/80s Subaru GL, DL, Leone, BRAT equipped with OEM bushing Part Number 641002220.

Most Subaru cars switched to an updated design around 1983 (which is listed separately here on the site). Check your specific pitch mount and/or contact me for help choosing the correct bushing.

Made of 70A shore hardness polyurethane rubber. More durable and crack resistant than OEM rubber. 70A polyurethane is still flexible, but it is slightly more firm than the factory rubber. Although this will result in sharper/better feel/handling, it could cause a slight increase in vibration transfer.

Lubricating grease is supplied with all bushing orders. All contact surfaces of the new bushings and steel sleeves should be thoroughly lubricated before installation for easier installation, smooth/quiet operation and long bushing life.

Due to the several custom options, nearly all items are made to order. Therefore, there could be up to a 10 business day production time on some orders before they ship.

Please message me if you have any questions about this item fitting your specific vehicle or for any other questions.

Color Disclaimer. The formulation of polyurethane that I use to make bushings is chosen because of its high physical strength properties. An unfortunate downside of this type of polyurethane is that it can darken or discolor over time. Especially if it is exposed to UV light. This discoloration has no affect on physical properties but it only aesthetic. I highly recomend not leaving the bushings exposed to sunlight before they are installed. Obviously once installed, sunlight exposure isn't much of an issue but darkening may still occur.
