Hood Bump Stop Set. 1st Gen Subaru

This is a 4 piece set of hood bump stops. I have only verified these pieces to fit 1st Gen, Pre 1982 Subaru cars. But it may fit others.

It inlcludes 2 bump stops that pop into the hood itself. And 2 hood bump stop screw adjuster hats/toppers that are located on the upper radiator support.

1 set needed per car.

Made of 70A shore hardness polyurethane rubber. More durable and crack resistant than OEM rubber. 

Lubricating grease is supplied with all bushing orders. All contact surfaces of the new bushings and steel sleeves should be thoroughly lubricated before installation for easier installation, smooth/quiet operation and long bushing life.

Due to the several custom options, nearly all items are made to order. Therefore, there could be up to a 10 business day production time on some orders before they ship.

Color Disclaimer. The formulation of polyurethane that I use to make bushings is chosen because of its high physical strength properties. An unfortunate downside of this type of polyurethane is that it can darken or discolor over time. Especially if it is exposed to UV light. This discoloration has no affect on physical properties but it only aesthetic. I highly recomend not leaving the bushings exposed to sunlight before they are installed. Obviously once installed, sunlight exposure isn't much of an issue but darkening may still occur.
