Subaru, EA82, 5 speed, 4WD/2WD Shift Lever Socket & Boot Set

This is a kit containing the Transmission Gear Selector/Shift lever Pivot Ball Socket and Boot for Subaru cars with an EA82 engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. This kit will fit all 4WD and 2WD models.

Kit contains:
x1 Pivot ball socket with built in gasket flange.  D1094-SUB-TR
x1 Rubber boot that protects the socket.  D1095-SUB-TR
x1 Piece of mechanics wire to secure the boot in place
Lubricating grease

Lubricating grease is supplied with all bushing orders. All contact surfaces of the new bushings and steel sleeves that will experience movement during vehicle operation should be thoroughly lubricated before installation for easier installation, smooth/quiet operation and long bushing life.

Due to the several custom options, nearly all items are made to order. Therefore, there could be up to a 10 business day production time on some orders before they ship.

Disclaimers

Color. The formulation of polyurethane that I use to make bushings is chosen because of its high physical strength properties. An unfortunate downside of this type of polyurethane is that it can darken or discolor over time. Especially if it is exposed to UV light. This discoloration has no affect on physical properties but it only aesthetic. I highly recommend not leaving the bushings exposed to sunlight before they are installed. Obviously once installed, sunlight exposure isn't much of an issue but darkening may still occur.
